Stephanie Dodier has over ten years of experience teaching  secondary science (IB & MYP) across different Canadian provinces. As a sessional instructor at SFU and an education consultant, she works with various organizations and guides educators from all fields. Most importantly she helps other educators improve their practice and become the best version of themselves. Learning is FUN and our teaching should reflect that.

 

Her mission is to communicate evidence-based educational practices because she values bridging the gap between academia and practice in various settings.

 

Stephanie also has a master’s degree in education (curriculum and instruction). Her topics of predilection include science education, the science of learning, experiential learning, competency-based education, teacher education, and the implementation of educational innovations.

 

Her theoretical knowledge and her teaching experience combined allows her to bring to the table a more holistic view of education. Finally, Stephanie hopes that her passion for education transpires in the way she raises her two daughters.
